Each of these three designs were originally poster formats and they each represent a set of data from collaborative efforts to create visually compelling information. For each poster, I worked with a separate team to create a unique information visual with a carefully selected tone and message.

All vector work created in Illustrator.
Note: all three projects were collaborative with a partner or partners, we worked together in creating the concepts, sorting the data, and finalizing the design. In the first two projects I took a leading role, and in the last project I took a supportive role.

Hospital Facility Members and their Interactions Through Time
The first poster represents a temporal interaction network between hospital workers and their patients. We began by selecting only four nurse codes to see their interior and exterior groups’ interactions among members in this system and across time.
Latin American Social Progress over a Decade
The second poster represents a sample portion of data from the United Nations Development program focusing on Latin American countries’ general social progress in about a decade. Methods representing information in this graph are shown by a color and section map, A-B dichotomy bar graphs, and a simple bar chart.
Assessing the ACT Design
The final poster contains information gathered from observation, secondary, and participation research about improving the effectiveness of ACT exam layouts.
Our focus was on improving the test-taking experience for ACT test takers. We found that while the ACT is effectively organized in many ways, many elements on the ACT could be re-ordered in terms of typographic hierarchy and best practice in type and design layout.
