At the Learning and Innovation Branch (LIB) I created digital assets for e-learning materials contracted by the Army.
The 35T component covered electrical training for soldiers. They had a logo they liked, and an old style guide with a few drab colors they did not. The instructor was highly interested in a change for the new instructional series, and I was happy to create this livelier concept.
My inspiration came from an oppositional dynamic—to liven up a subject dense with material, and this final work stems from online research and communication with our client. This work then guided the tone of the overall graphics styles and learning modules created by our team.

Remote Work Experience
During the pandemic in 2020, our office operated completely remote for an entire year and a half. This is a project I worked on completely from home during that time.

Due to the project’s size and breadth, and the many people who would work on it, it required a firm but clear foundation in design standards, yet the style needed to allow for individual flexibility.
The following pages not only outline the colors and type faces to be used, but stand as examples themselves in the use of type, color, and imagery for future module layouts.
This was an interactive PDF that with hyperlinked table of contents (visible on each page) which our team could use to navigate the pages more easily.
